Hey man - do all cants help all people, or does the canting required depend on the individuals knee-hip-leg alignment? How do I know if I need cants? Or does just getting them bring a benefit, whether I thought I needed them or not?
Off topic: why do Voile make our mountain plate bindings with such thick plastic bases? Its too much considering the thick slider plate and then the thick AT boot heel and sole. Surely a thin aluminium plate would work just as well as the big blue plastic bits? Thin alu plate, perhaps 5mm, small one for the toe and another small one for the heel. Surely that's all is needed to hold the wire bails in place?
