picked up a demo pair of Garmont mega-rides and rode them over the weekend to get the feel. Still in the transition mode from soft to hard boot but the flexability of the mega was superb. Soft on the way up and needs figuring out on the way down...(p.s. I also locked them into my downhill skis with super control). Just ordered some cants from voile today...should be nice.
Bring on the pow!! and windpack!! and firm!! and decomposed!! and corn!!
Keep us Posted on the Mega Rides. The Size and how they feel over all once more days on them. Skinning up/breaking trail in them/decending with/without board....If you would:)
Thanks

here iz the situation so far...NO SNOW...as such following the opinion is limited:
Been riding boards forever...snowboarding from '88:
1. Put many flat land skin miles on in consolidated snow...feels great. fast and accurate. toe hits puck on right foot but that may be normal with my foot size, 29, and stance (currently 10,20),
2. Naturally duckfoot with softies...so my stance needs tweaking...however the lack of snow prohibits the fine tuning...
So far I like the boot and look forward to getting it dialed. It is for me the ominous "one-boot-for-most-things-boot"...I'll ride when it snows...!!!
