I know there's no riding but there is some snow to be seen. An impromptu trip to the Great Sand Dunes. Weather wasn't too great Saturday, rained all evening and night. Took the 4wd primitive road ,Medano Pass, around the dunes and up over to the other side. The Sangre De Cristo's def picked up some snow overnight. Culebra looked sick(sorry no pics of that.)
The road to
Some Dunes for that ass...
Some bighorn sheep and their young'uns along the Medano Pass Rd.
Towards the top of the pass..
Not sure which peaks these are
On the other side of the Medano Pass(from the dunes.) Its those sexy mtns known as the Sangre De Cristo's........

Nice pics Splitfire! I especially like the sepia one. Love the Dunes, a great place to go anytime of year ( well, maybe not in the heat of mid-summer!) Looks like the Sangres got hit pretty hard last week, if that keeps up we'll be pickin cherries this winter.
