wysplit - I'm pretty sure your "weak ass sled" will be able to keep up with the phazer mtn light. It won't make the 40,000 miles or so the yammi will probably make it though  .

jp - I'm real interested in knowing how your sled works for you this year. I see you are in CO so the riding is a bit different than here in WA. Won't much matter though as 2ft fresh is 2ft fresh anywhere. Have you ridden sleds before? Will you be riding groomed trails to snowboarding areas or boondocking to them? What about doubling/towing? Thanks for the input on the sled man!

Myself? Been riding a 800REV the past two years. It gets me where I want to go. Oh yeah, that CFR rack is TITS. LAYC

i would say both. lots of backcountry riding and yeah this thing is a boondocking machine. my plan is to use it for bc access and for having fun.. minor towing, maybe a bit of tandem. probably not too much as my good friend has a new rx-1 mountain and we've also got another sled. the rx1 is the work horse and will be the tow machine.

this is the first sled i've owned but certainly not the first one i've rode.
i'm about 155lbs - maybe 200 with all my gear/board so i think this sled has plenty of power to get me where i need to go. and the nimble light weight design i should be able to get in a lot of places we previously couldn't
