1. Hire kick-ass Andian porters that go flying past with 25 kilos of gear on their backs. Gear should include lunch tent, chairs, humongous cooking setup, fresh food, etc.

2. (not pictured) Await clean, warm, damp, snowy white washcloths. Freshen up with same.

3. Enjoy a bowl or two of hot barley soup.

4. My favorite! The Andean people also enjoy fried chicken on the trail. Except this is hot and fresh.

5. And finally, a little coca matte to open the capillaries and dispense with any remaining aches and pains.

When you are feeling refreshed, continue on your way.

You have no idea how much more... We had 14 people with 14 digital cameras on the trip. I think someone estimated 6 or 7 thousand shots. I'm thinking of putting together the world's longest vacation slideshow :P a little something for the Andy Kaufman fans.

If I can get everything sorted out and edited before the snow starts falling there may even be a TR in the offing.
