P420- Last year I went about this time of year and the sun cups were almost to the summits/ridges. We're talking a couple hundred feet of good vert max. Flintys and GPS didn't soften up till 2 or 3 as well.

I figured the cups were getting big. I hit up "s" this time last year and it was pretty good. I was hoping the lake shuttle would be running and it would be easy to get up to greensmoke. Hopefully some of the more narrow stuff will be shaded better and be in better shape.

Saw some pics from gimpy and joesnow on BCR's shasta TR on TGR of the Conness basin. Big suncups, but up on the glacier and chutes it looks pretty good still.
