It has become apparent to me that I dont have my skinns trimmed enough. Can someone send a picture of the correct amount of edge that should be exposed when the skins are on the board? Thanks

I was asking Brian at Mammoth Mountaineering about this when I bought new skins to replace the crappy Burton ones. He said to cut one side flush with the edge, then move it over two edge widths, and cut the other side flush with the other edge. This will leave you with a skin that completely covers the base except for the edges. YMMV.

jimw gave the explanation ... I give a pic.

use a very sharp knife/cutter to cut along the (outside) edge. and use a pocket lighter to heat-seal the cuts (very careful!).
