anyone one planning on being around? My wife and I are thinking of either Sunday or Monday, Ellery Bowl (maybe I'll hump it up to the Dana Plateau if I can manage it).
I'll probably take both skis and my split; mode of descent TBD

I'll be there with wavy. Possibly others. We plan on getting there Sat evening sometime, riding Sun/Mon. Location depends on whether the road is open, weather etc. Mo-mart dinner Sat night (and Sun too... hell, probably Mon too)!

Geez, jimw. Why don't you arrange for them to FedEx you meals during the week too.
Good idea, I'll have to look into it.

The road's not open is it? I didn't think there was even a chance.
I dunno. I heard rumors that they were going to try to get it open to the park this weekend, but who knows. Two weeks ago it looked like they were just about to Ellery Lake.

According to Lee Vining ranger station recording, Caltrans hotline, and someone at the Mo-Mart, Tioga road is still closed at the lower gate as of today. Hmm...
