Well we had intentions on riding the Dead Dog Couloir on Torreys Peak top to bottom today, but that didnt quite happen. We left our vehicle at 4:30am, and got to the base of the Dog around 7:30. After about an hour and a half, we were starting to feel the altitude quite a bit, this thing's long! The snow wasnt great in the couloir, so we didnt have to much issues with bailing about 2/3rds the way up.
Gettin' Some!
So after some variable choppy turns out of the Dog, we decided to make our way over to Kelso Mtn and check out the North Chute. Little did we know this would be the best turns of the day!
