Im posting this Photo for all of you at TPR. Remember Me Talking about "Hole in the Wall" at Mammoth? Here it is. This is a fun couloir cause about half way down you go into this hole and it feels like pulling the car in the garage.

I've always wanted to do that line. Is that picture from this season. I could see where that would get filled in. Maybe have to duck big time to get through it. Very unique and very kewl.

Yes, this was taken January 16th or so. I dont think it ever get full , the cieling is about 20 feet up. With the angle, it seems to always be about 20 feet up no matter what the pack is.

I guess if I put it in perspective to that tree, it would be pretty big. Don't know about Jackson.

There is a ridiculously similar feature in Jackson (Grand Teton National Park)...crazy how similar. Thanks for posting the hole in the wall.

Thats The Simpsons for those who dont know. Yeah, I've seen that pic from the Jackson area, it is crazy how those two look so much alike. "Thats pretty cool I guess."

There's also one of these near Fernie, BC. No idea where it is exactly, but I once saw a photo of Craig Kelly ripping it in Frequency mag.

ive heard of the Fernie one.... supposedly up near three sisters... the sled crew know where it is for sure... but it's just an arch less of a couloir tunnel from the videos

Done that line many times, best part is, you get to ride the shuttle back to Canyon Lodge. Don't tell your friends though, it's a big secret :wink:

I like to think of it as a granite version of pipeline.
