I gotta day pass for Sunday :shock: so planning to head up early in the morn from Santa Cruz area. Haven't been to Tallac yet but not locked in to anything - just want to get out. Gotta a big rig in case you're on the way and all the standard gear. Anyone Game ?? :D Steve

Hey Steve,

I'm going to be on the S shore probably near the Hope Valley/Carson Pass area on Sunday to go kite-snowboarding. I think I'm bringing my split jic there's no wind or if I need to hike for wind.
Red Lakes has some sweet tree riding and some good bowls as well as awesome kiting - so I may go there. PM me if you're interested in meeting up. C-Ya!

Hola Yoda,

Our hearts are set on Tallac for Sunday morning unless there's some crazy avy danger or something. We're gonna hit the trailhead at 9AM if you're interested. Not exactly a dawn patrol, but its a long drive for a day trip!

I'll be over there tomorrow, but dawn patrol, gotta be back early. Can you make it early? Looks like about 1-2 feet of fresh to break trail in.
