For those of you out there, who hate to switch over binding, or in my case are just too lazy here's a solution.
Sorry i forgot to turn the pic...
As simple as drilling out new holes for the pucks. Not too much work to it. Credit must go to Bridgerhippie for the idea. Thanks man.
The support of the board was one issue i had with doing this, but there's not much of a difference in the way the board handles as far as i could tell..

Jeez, now you got me thinking! I've got one board I'm using the same binding I took apart for my slider tracks on my split, and that may be the way to go. But I'd put a few inserts in there somewhere 'cause I hate fixing pulled out ski screws.

don't the pucks and plates add a considerable amount of weight? I also got sick of switching bindings from my split to my resort board so I bought a really cheap pair of older bent metal bindings off of ebay and they are working out good.

that is with out a doubt the stupidist thing i've ever seen.you would rather have your board ride with those stiff ass plates than take five minutes to change your bindings . Smoke another one

I want to believe you're not an idiot--in case you didn't know, some people do in fact prefer the climbing and riding qualities of hard boots and plate bindings. Perhaps a more appropriate question would have been why this person didn't want to go with a standard plate binding (personally, I'm guessing it was an economic decision).
Or am I confused, and hard boots are not being used?

That's not a bad idea. I'm thinking I may make my own pucks again like the Burton conversion so I can use the original holes on the board and once again - no drilling. Thanks for the idea.
