Thanks for putting those out. Most on this board dont venture south of Lee Vining. Now I think they see whats out there. How is the rock creek area? Thinking of going to RCL in april or May. Thanks

That day we did some stuff on Mt Morgan South, which isn't all the way back in Rock Creek Canyon. But most of the stuff back there (Dade, Mills, etc...) is doable in a day. The road gets plowed to the East Fork campground, which is still 5 miles from Mosquito Flat. But it's groomed for cross country skiing, so the 5 miles goes by pretty easily.
