Anyone ridding in Smithers or Terrace these days? We're coming out of AK and looking for snow. Wondering how far we'll have to go.

Hasn't snowed in around a month here in Terrace. Avalanche risk is low, low, low. There is an arctic outflow right now so pretty cold for us. Snow is in the forecast, but we need a bunch. Might be able to find some turns off the hill that are worthwhile but nothing like we're used to.

Oh ya and I don't know how Hankin is doing, but friends went to Smithers last weekend and they said it was pretty bony.

Thanks for the link. We're trying to rally a posse for a March trip. It always snows in March.

It has snowed since the last post. Riding is getting better. More snow on the way. Still lots of time before March. Here's the mountain forecast.
