Iv4no, I lace the uppers with a little less hate when I was breaking them in. Makes for a more natural ride down

Yeah I thought so. Guess it depends on your tastes. Gonna try different "setups" :)

They're really stiff. I thought the DX where stiff, but this "ain't the same f*cking ballpark". I'm not a good rider, and the first descent I had some trouble.

Regarding to stiffness: once the boots start breaking in a bit, they will feel much more "natural."

Does anyone have a phone number or email address for the US Fitwell rep? The contact form on their site isn't working for me and I had a few questions.

Todd Johnson is the US distributor. He uses a lot of emails for some reason:

todd@fitwellboots.com
toddandersjohnson@me.com
toddandersjohnson@risanmedia.com

The only (negligible) downside when compared with my Driver Xs is the external lacing system, which is traditional and takes a while (you need to tie the laces, which of course with gloves can be hard or impossible).

Anyone knows if there's a way to modify it? The internal laces work very well, so I thought maybe you could use something similar.

I just received my fitwells today. I ordered them from Todd on March 2nd and they definitely took a little longer to arrive than I anticipated... but I'm pretty stoked on them so far. I'll try and post beta more once I have a chance to get them on the mountain. These things are bomber!
