What large radius (sidecut) boards are out there?

Primarily splits, but solids too.

There's the furberg ofcourse, with 16, 18 and 20 meter sidecuts on the 162, 167 and 173 boards.

There's the chimera mace at 9.7, 10 and 10.4 meter sidecut on the 161, 165, and 171 boards.

Everything else seems to come in at 8 meter give or take.

What else is out there?

Contract Snowboards have the Swell with a 12m and the Code Yeti has 18 or 20m.

Dan: The Never Summer Prospector is actually around 9.9 m equivalent radius (if you measure the way Venture does) so it is not too bad. Chimera, may make the Dum Dum, which has been floating around in prototype form for a couple of seasons now, it has around 16-17 m radius.
Prior and Donek will do semi custom boards with longer radii. With the right design, I am in favor of sidecut radii of 16 m and up, but most snowboard designers are quite conservative, and do not really get it. Thank goodness there is Daniel Furberg, and good for him to buck the silly trends...

Looks like the Odin can be added to the list 16.4-18.1m depending on size. Oh wait that's sidecut depth. They are not giving the ESR for the Odin

I wanted to get my facts straight.

So, consider the Odin 165 x 26. With an edge length of 125 cm, and a sidecut depth of 1.7 cm, the calculated equivalent sidecut radius would be 12.3 meters, this is significantly longer sidecut radius than the Odin had previously.
Thanks for posting the link to the 14/15 Venture specs.

Have you got to play with it in Japan yet?

Confirmed: The DumDum has a 16.9 and 17.9m sidecut for the 160 and 168 models, respectively. We actually wrapped up the R&D a while back and are still offering the DumDum this year.

The availability of the Dum Dum is great news. Will you be updating your web page with the specs, description, photos of the Dum Dum in the near future?
