Wyoming is truly like no place on earth. It ceases to amaze me every time that I drive from home to Togwotee Pass how different the low lands are from the mountains. It can be 50 degrees at my house with no snow and as soon as you get close to the Continental Divide the landscape and precipitation drastically change. Like they say around here, “If you don't like the weather…wait five minutes.â€Â

A friend of mine, Tom Turiano, took this photo of the same area a couple of days later. Said our tracks had all blown in. A much better view though:
