Yes, with mended seams and fabric spanning the gap to keep snow out. We should find some shop time to try this. My boots are on their last season so they can be the first gen Frankenstein. No voile ratchets though...

Ja mon, you just need some old ski buckles or power straps. An industrial sowing machine would be nice..

More than anything I'd like a "drive" mode for my boots. Acceleration/braking can be kinda rough when using the whole leg, and that's with an automatic....

That's the idea, but with a quick buckle for tight closer<plus this needs to be high-back friendly....
