Hi all.

Sometimes I think about splitboard, couple of my friends have one, and really happy.
I'm a 100kilos 1.95cm tall, 7yrs of experience, softboots, hardboots for carving, so if I'd go for one, this needed to be long and fast. Need regular radius board, Euphoria is not a way to go.
I have(standing next to my wall):
-Donek Incline 180w.
-Winterstick 183
-Rossignol Undertaker 198

What can I consider for my splitboard?
0. Split my Incline. It is quite stiff, so I don't bother about the performance. This is not a swallow, but it makes easier to ride some harder places. I got some doubts, how it will act on a hard pack, when I push it hard.
1. Voile V-tail - $600 for a split looks like a nice price, doesn't it?
2. Prior Swallow - I can go for custom, carbon construction.
3. Anything else? Long and stiff.

I got some doubts how the DIY split will compare to factory splits and how does the Voile compare to Prior? I don't want to spend a tons of a money, because I need a new race board too.

Voile makes an exceptional swallowtail and the price is unbeatable

Cheers!

Mostly due to misinformation and ignorance...

As for other factory split-swally options you have
Prior
Rome
Winterstick
Venture (though not a traditional ST)
Gentem

Or split yer own
Venture
Pow Surfer (Nazari)
Never Summer
Pogo
Swell Panik
Boheme
Virus
Nitro
APO
O-Sin
Field Earth
Moss
TJ Brand
Burton

Check out Nazari's selection, a bit pricey but he likes swallowtails

Don't get me started as well ( some might say I have a problem  you will see below )

Nothing like standing up straight on both feet while riding the deeeep

If you're into swallowtails, this 178 x 26.7 Salty Peaks / NS collab would make a fun and durable split:

firstlight, ok looks you can do some comparsion.

I already got a
-Rossi Untkr 198
-winterstick swallow
and looking for
-apo swallow
-Subj: V-tail say 180 or 190.

Can you compare them?
I guess rossi will be perfect for a staight line fast runs, and winterstick for a treeruns. I've never tried any, gonna do it this weekend.
Apo is quite stiff, but I like it. Never seen one in person, though.
I wonder hot a V-tail comares to first three? Just don't wanna get another swallow, just because it is split.

Apo swallow
I haven't got a split of this but they are STIFF. large radius side cut so these are big mountain boards. I've been on the 205 in hard packed Australian conditions and it flies. You would want this in a un-wooded areas for masssssive carving
V-tail 180 or 190.
I've only got these in stock, brand new.
My first factory split was a Voile 178 swallow.
The nose on it is soft and long so the board rides quite short, a little heavy but the board has sidewalls unlike most Voile swallows.
I have two of these, one blue and white one Blue with flames.

My fav solid swallow is the Taro Tamai Big fish 164. (soft boots)

My fav splits are the Voile 178 and the DIY Winterstick. The Winterstick is only for deep POW (soft boots), the Voile will go anywhere!(hardboots)

If only I didn't have to travel 8000 km to get the Deeeeeeep

I'm making some new boards for Japan soon and sorry to say they wont be Swallows, I've plenty.

Cheers
