With the fun new members contributing to the forum, I wanted to create a point of reference for anyone to know every aspect of splitboarding. Starsplitter has done a great job informing all aspects of splitboarding, check them out!

I spotted David Gordouche the other day, no joke. Might be time for a Gordouche sighting thread...

The dude's starspliter, not starsplitter ... why the fuck can't anyone get that right?

Seriously though, I think people are giving him way too hard of a time on this forum. So what if he thinks that splitboard bindings are expensive, they are. So what if his grammar and spelling isn't great, it's not. And so what if what he says doesn't quite fit in. He's just a guy out there riding pow, building boards, and doing things his way. I don't think he's a troll he's just different than you're average backcountry.com spokesmodel and that's ok. Let's not forget that snowboarding was once the domain of misfits.

Stuka, kudos to you for taking the high road. I'd agree with every one of your observations, but what is striking to me is how many of his comments seem to be an effort to parody certain folks on this forum. I for one don't think this is a coincidence. If I'm wrong, shame on me.

Well said.
If he is just trolling though he's doing a fine job so just sit back with a bag of popcorn and enjoy.

I wasn't trying to be mean, but he did show up like a bull in a china shop.

The best snowboarders (athletes) are humble. Like me. I am humble. Ipso facto, I am the best snowboarder here.

Suck it! (damn not humble enough)... :banghead:
