I have a set of Maruelli M2 toe pieces that fit any tech toe hard boot, used around 10 times last season. Super light, super simple. Just going with Dynafit Low Tech Race toes this year to match my all red Phantoms. Center hole matches up with the forward center hole of the standard split pattern, then a ski screw on either side secures them. Or you can order adapters similar to the Spark Dynafit adapters direct from Maurelli. Direct mounting them is lighter, cheaper, and pretty easy if you're at all handy with a drill - adapters allow for Dynafit style crampons though. $200 shipped
Older set of Dynafit TLT4 Race Pro boots, size 27 - these don't have the super awesome walk mode of the 5's, but they're pretty light and work pretty well for snowboarding. They were my gateway drug into the world of hardboot splitting. Cheap way to get a taste and make sure you're ok with the feel of hardboot riding - $60 shipped
Posting from my phone, email or pm and I'll send pics.
