Between debating a few centimeters adding float, or being too hard to turn, or not playful enough; to the TLT wow and HD Airs thread Or the the deep thoughts movies vs. the naked dudes and fart jokes movies thread; I will from this day forth refer to autumn as the season of minutiae.

As in; This minutiae is pissier than years past, can't wait til it snows :D

Cheers :guinness: :doobie:

[edit] oh yeah can't leave out the stuff's too expensive thread

Meanwhile in Europe, this minutiae feels so long that they've now stated talking about snowchains and cars on most pow forums.

I've waxed the planks five times already, how do you get through minutiae season without beeing drunk the whole time?

Snurfer, you forgot to put the word "it" in your title. Also, aint isn't really a word. But if you insist on using it, don't forget the apostrophe. Using a period will let people know you are done with your sentence. :bananas:

Snurfer's analysis of others' minutiae is appropriately categorized as meta minutiae, which, excitingly, is itself a new (albeit up-scaled) category of minutiae for the forum.

Edit: I never debate less than 10 cm.

Through all the bickering and debauchery of early season misery we have concluded two things: minutia is an awesome word, and monkeys never cease to amaze.

Great responses! :doobie: I wasn't sure if a beer fueled thread like this had legs, but the sb.com crew delivers again.
The monkey pic just made me spit-laugh  coffee on my desk
BTW if I ever attempt a tindy its sure to be comedy gold.

I heard xavier tightens his toe strap exactly 6 times for riding in the backcountry. so I only tighten mine six times for riding in the backcountry. hardbooterers do not have a toe strap thus they cannot tighten their straps 6 times, ultimately making them unable to use the backcountry.

Does that mean I'm a monkey if I grew a tail on the front side?

I cut off the last 9 teeth of my toe strap to save 54 grams off my setup. In case of an avalanche I can unbuckle quick as possible, and makes my transition .4 seconds faster.
