Deeluxe Summit

Looks like Deeluxe is coming out with a higher end splitboard boot.

Thought it was doubtful, but has anyone got to try these prior to release? Like to try them out, but at $650 retail I doubt I can even afford them at my proform price.

Yeah the Summit looks cool and all, but how about those Timbo-style stompers in the case under them? I just want to roll around in those bumping some Wu Tang hits from the 90s. :doobie:

one big thing they did that will improve the riding and hiking is extending the sole out to the sides of the boot.

if you look at the original spark or the xv the side of the boot sticks out a 1/2 inch or so from the sole on the sides, and causes the boot to "roll" side to side in the binding.

Is this sole change across the board on all their BC boots or just the summit? Trying to decided if any of the features are worth the $650 price tag.

its hard to tell, but it looks like they did, looks like the boots are improving, so i'd justify spending the money just in hopes that they will one day make the perfect splitboarding boot.

I have come to believe it's a huge conspiracy.

If any manufacturer made the 'perfect' splitboarding boot that was perfect for touring, riding and climbing, and was affordable, everyone would get it and then not buy any new boots for 5 years. Imagine the smell climbing into THAT Subaru!
