Ive got the XV Split and have ridden it two days so far. My previous splitting experience was on my 168 K2 Panoramic which i wasnt a massive fan of in New zealand (rode like a fucking dream in japan) due to the firmer snow and the flat under foot not engaging too well. to counter this i wanted a cambered board and this bad boy came out. i wasnt so sure on going with this length again (i hoped the made the split in the 63 like the solid) but alas 67 only. Anyway after two days im pretty stoked on it so far. for starters it skins better than what im used to, i get a tiny tiny bit of flap in the tip on hardpack but nothing like on my previous board. i was breaking trail in deep wind drifted snow all day and it handles fine.
Ride wise it turns so much quicker and effortless than i expected. i was riding a 30-35 pitch most of the day in 30-50cm of drifted but dry snow and it felt fantastic. really impressed so far.
For those interested i was on 11-12 lightrails and G3 skins (also awesome!)
