No worries I found a partner and did Grizzly Peak on Loveland Pass on Saturday. Conditions are very fine right now, though melting fast.

did you do the main couly on grizzly? from the pics I've seen she looks ready to rock beside the weird cornice on top.. (not really overhanging)any shots of emperor or turning fork? I read someone climbed turning over the weekend! that's a long good looking run, I saw that on my way to grizzly couly last season.

Hot as hell down in Denver this week but I can still see the snow up on the mountains from here.

Suggestions on some high enough stuff that is not too wet?

Looking for something safe for travel and riding.

Its a way late reply, but since we're gearing up for another season I figured I'd post in this thread to mention I'll be around all winter. I generally have Sundays until 3pm, Mondays all day, Tuesdays all day, and Wednesdays until 2pm free. I work at Loveland Ski Area and generally hit up the mellow alpine lines on the pass, the south face of Mt. Trelease, and Butler gulch during the winter; but want to explore berthoud more, especially when things start to set up and more options become realistic.

So if any of you ever have a weekday off and want to get out, give a holler.

I took a hiatus last winter but I'm looking to get back into things this time around. I'm a weekend warrior.

I'm on the colorado state splitboard team (unemployed) at the the moment. Bummer is the Jeep is in the shop getting a new oil pump and I need tires and some work after that to trust it again. Yada yada yada....

Been riding Cameron quite a bit, nothing bad to say about it as long as you stay away from the Diamond on the weekends. Hoping to head to RMNP once I get a ride there. For some reason people like to ride C.P. over RMNP. Still trying to figure that out... Both are great terrain, but RMNP has a lot to offer from the Bear Lake TH.

Because as crowded as CP gets on weekends, it is a ghost town compared to Berthoud!

I bet! BP parking lot is a total shit show , from sledders, families, tourists, skiers, Christmas tree hunters, and a couple people who probably shouldnt be there all together.

How does RMNP do this early? I see lots of talus and rock in summer so I think they would need a bit more snow unless you go up high...

CP sounds like a nice escape from BP
