I started a Colorado splitboard facebook group called Colorado Splitboard Faction for the purpose of seeking out partners, discussing local conditions, sharing pics and videos, selling used equipment, etc. OZ will also be throwing a monthly splitboard event that will include a group split trip with apres-split beers, BBQ and swag at our shop. Make sure you hold an event as close to Crested Butte as possible!

Great idea! We will take the show on the road! It might not be until next season since we are running out of time unless you think we can do a late April trip?

The area around Irwin Cat skiings tenure inparticular has some awesome terrain. I heard there is a grumpy troll who resides in the area that may appreciate a splitboard gathering.

Edit: Its a ten mile slog to get to the above terrain in winter without a snowmobile. But we definitely need to get as many splitters up there as possible sometime. I think it typically gets plowed in May to be eopened by Memorial day...
