Hey MN,
Try posting this in the general Splitboard Talk Forum. You might get some more responses. Also, be sure to check the "partners wanted" forum. I bet you'll find other east coast splitters that you can ride with.

302 west takes you thru crawford notch and into the white mountains. theres the cog railway and ammonoosuc ravines, etc on Washington's west flanks. then on the other side, you have tux, GOS, huntington etc. i could tell you about some spots in maine, but then id have to kill you. also, you didnt say you wanted to ride in maine anyway.
First of all If you think your gonna get lines like this in the east coast I am sorry my friend you live in the wrong part of the world. Your more likely to run into Windbuff and Ice in our alpine till right about now when Mt washington starts turning over to a corn/boilerplate cycle. Meaning corn turns when it is sunny, frozen death when its cloudy and below freezing. We dont have the acres and acres of vast terrain like are west coast pals. But that doesnt mean you and your split cant go out and have fun. As far as recomending a spot what is your current skill level and avy knowlege? Most of the terrain on washington goes from extremly easy to expert with very little in between.

I've been riding for about 14 almost 15 years now been out west few times but have no avy experience I'm trying to find a class but am having trouble finding one. I think I might head to vt my buddy said he's got something for me to try out, but ya I think the mt Washington area is where I'll end up.
And that pic is sick I wish we had half of that around these parts (unless some one knows where I could possibly find some lines like that)
And thank you Nordicbordin and swampbuster for your advice
