I saw Dave Downing running around with those @ SIA. Ya man, that interface looks like a game changer for sure. I wish I could get my hands on those right now, since I'm finally in a place to kick the snowshoes to the side and start splitting.
Have you ever broke a Voile puck? Does the Voile x Spark system have the same feel as riding a "normal" resort board? Does the Voile x Spark have any "slop"? Some say the Karakoram doesn't, yeah? All those parts, and all that metal worries me though : bending, breaking, loose bolts, etc.

I just noticed that the Karakoram x Bent Metal bindings I was looking at run HUGE. The larges go from 11.5 - 13's; so those are out. I'm a size 11. The retailer I was looking at only has a large in stock. Are the K's true to size; do you think a large would be to big for a size 11 boot?
How do you feel about slider tracks? I was thinking about just mounting my Union's on those until the Tesla comes out. The Tesla system looks so much nicer than anything out there right now; and the fact that Burton is backing their tech says a lot to me...
I realize the slider tracks are heavier and you're a bit elevated, but can you tell a huge difference from the Blaze, or Burner while riding? The Blaze and Burner just look so cheap to me; as well as most of the other split board bindings on the market right now. At least the K x Bent Metal's look like a proper binding...
If you haven't seen that, read through it and see if it answers any of your questions.
Puck breakage is not an issue o have heard of. It is a good idea to check your puck screws every couple of days of riding to make sure they are tight though.
Voile sliders work fine, they just add significant weight and are a stop-gap until you get dedicated bindings. The Spark Burners are anything but flimsy. If you got a set I doubt you would regret it, and you will be able to buy an upgrade kit next winter to convert your Sparks to the Tesla system (though I have no idea what the kit will cost).
