Thinking about getting out tomorrow and Tuesday any one interested?
I am new to this forum and relatively new to PDX. Came here from Jackson, Wy and Montana before that - I would love to get out into the backcountry and avoid some crowds, I'm just unsure of routes, areas, etc - I'm looking to be shown around a bit.
If anyone needs a backcountry partner I'm avalanche level 1 certified with a complete set of avalanche gear. I also quit smoking 10 months ago, so I should be able to keep up! The best part: I work for home so I can go whenever. Hit me up! Lets shred...
PDxers, I am going to be up in Portland while my wife is at a conference. Looking to get out and split on Sunday Feb. 17. I am a longtime backcountry traveler with avy skills, gear, and fitness. Would be grateful if I could tag along on a tour, slackcountry, or whatever you got, for a day. Would be happy to recipricate down in my neck of the woods, Ashland,Or and make it worth your while up there with beer, or whatever. I can also provide 4x4 transportation. PM me here please and thanks.
