Hoglord, you should know that you don't need a splitfest for there to be peeps riding the eastside when it's good. Sounds like right now Mammoth to Bridgeport area is worthy, but south is still kinda bare. I'm looking at taking a week or so mid April to do some splitting, and having partners is always cool. Destination is still up in the air, but Eastside is an option, as is a volcano tour, or heading east. Let me know if you (or anyone else) are down. In the meantime, Donner split party should be sweet, and it looks like snow is on the way

This year has been a good one for sure. The krew and I have been at it since mid November, finding pow and taking down line after line. I would be super stoked for an Eastside splitfest....doesn’t J-bay usually put it together? Anyway, hopefully something can be put together so we can all meet up and party! (I mean go splitboarding, HA-ha)

Yep looks good down there. You're right Fuster. I was just curious to see if anyone was interested. I'm always game for travels. I'm sure we can chat it up and maybe narrow down some venues to head out and up to, whether that's in the Cascades, SouthEast, Canada, or the Himalaya (I wish). We'll figure something out. This coming Tuesday and Wednesday look to be pretty promising, which will be awesome for this coming weekend.

Swanny and I have been working on putting something together. Tentative date is first weekend in May, which is May 3-5. Conditions should be good then, lots of options, roads opening, and of course the Mo-mart will be open (cue fustercluck comment here about me coming out of the woodwork to mention the Mo-mart). Stay tuned for more details soon.

Love any excuse to hit the eastside... I'll keep that weekend open. I've got crap for vacation days, but will pull some all nighters to drive out there and back for some good lines. Will probably have at least one willing cohort coming with me from the SF bay area as well... Don't be shy about the final plans.... Dirtbaggin it is all good....

How you digging the pulk dude? How technical are you able to get on your approaches? After talking to some winter mountaineers, i'm really wanting to ditch the heavy ass backpack and start pulking. The extra weight allowance would sure make spending days out there a lot more enjoyable.
