An interesting hard-soft hybrid. I'm not convinced that this is a more functional or elegant design than a hard or soft boot that derives structural integrity from its shell or boot outer. Needlessly overbuilt? Needless extra parts? Weight? Still, very interesting.

That's a soft boot where you forgot to take your binding off. Hardbooters just wear their bindings all the time.

i think a hard shell bottom-highback cuff-soft boot could be what a split boarding boot would be in the future. just not those ones!

I think weight will be the killer here but I like the innovation. I checked out there site and it says it's from the same guy who invented rear-entry ski boots in the 70's.
