Temps have been cold, snow is still good, and conditions are stable..
Went out to do one of my favorite tours, and was pleasantly surprised!

My front yard has been killer lately. Inversions and low sun angle keeping lower north facing stuff cold. Buried slash piles, a couple fun rock drops, sugary pow, and only a couple tracks that aren't mine. :mrgreen:

Sunset sessions last night... Crossing Echo lake looked a bit sketch, saw some tracks of some slowshoers and It looked like someone fell through the ice! :shock:

.... I didnt want to stop to take a pic of the broken ice lol.... For me droppin into a gnarly line is less sketch than crossing some frozen California lakes.
Looks like a storm may be rollin in!

Yes! The GheyPro trend finally showed up at my little ski area. So lame seeing all these tools running around with cameras on their heads, chests, on a stick :nononno:

Yea, Teletubbi style is all over the resorts these days... I spend most of my time in the BC, but I was up at Heavenly riding pipe today... I have to say its the best halfpipe heavenly has ever had, and the jib run is pretty fun too.. Im sorry to report that it was raining :cry:

to at least 8000ft... But you know this is Tahoe so it should turn to snow soon! cross your fingers!

eco and I found 4-6 in protected zones around the carson area on sunday and the crust underneath wasn't bullet proof so it rode pretty darn well

I'm not too good at math but I think there were 15 splitboarders on Tallac yesterday. Fun heavy pow up high and srain down low.
