I'll most likely be headed up solo. Looking for tour partners, especially Friday during the day. I've stayed at Snowater on other occasions and was planning on there again.

Anyone else camping? I guess we'll be in the baker lot. Probably head down mid day Friday. I know my other half would be stoked to ride with another couple.

There is a small campground close by Chair 9 that will be open (and likely free) to the splitfest attendees. It's the private campground by the Snowline condos not the Douglass Fir FS campground.

I am planning on bringing my wife but she is a skier. Just got her set up for touring and we have been out a few times together. I know this would give us a good opportunity to meet other couples that tour but will it be ok for her to attend as a skier? Don't want her to feel out of place if you know what I mean.
Also, we probably won't be making it in until around 830 or 9 Friday night, will there still be initial meet and greet/touring partner meet-ups going on then? We are driving in from Dupont, south of Tacoma.

Thanks in advance for any info provided!

Skiers are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a splitboarder and she doesn't snake your line I don't know of anybody that doesn't tour with skiers so of course she will be welcome.
For the meet and greet most people don't show up until 7 anyways. There should be plenty of people still around. The only drawback of showing up late is all the demo boards will probably be gone.

Hey Gormley, how did you secure a camping spot? Do you need to contact Chair 9 via Facebook?

According to the owner of Chair 9 camping is free in the little campground by the Snowline Lodge. It looks like it's closed but Pete told me it won't be a problem. But there is no way to reserve a spot. You could always sneak in Gormley's tent if the place is full.
The Facebook site is https://www.facebook.com/MtBakerSplitfest. I just got a GIANT box from One Ball Jay, several awesome boxes from Voile and some other amazing stuff for the raffle! I'm hoping to get some more photos posted tonight before I head to the Hood Splitfest.
