I just recently, well I sent my board in October , got my board back from sicksplits. They had told me two week turn around and quality craftsmanship. I had sent a brand new board to get split and waited 3 months for them to send it back. The work they did sucked and they sent it in a box that was so old it was ripped open by the time I got it. They convinced me to get inside edges even though I didn't really think they were necessary, the edges they put in we're uneven and created a long gap from were they ended to end of tip&tail. The rivits for the tip&tail clips are weak and one is split. Also one of the ptex circle plugs was cracked and soon fell out with minimal use. They charged me in full+ a paypal fee and even tried to get me to pay outta state tax. I had missed out on several trips waiting. Also the main guy Nick Parko, or something like that, left or got sick. In short don't even deal with these space cadets. Every town has somewhere where they have machine shop with a water jet, not special , go ask cant be that much to make one strait cut.

I recently had my board split by the guys at Sick Splits as well. I am extremely happy with the way my board turned out. James and Kevin have been very helpful throughout the process. I think that they had some growing pains as any company experiences when just starting up. I also had an issue with getting my board back in a timely manner but that was quickly resolved. The quality of the split and my inside edge is equivalent to a lot of factory boards that I have seen. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to get a split done.

Totally satisfied with mine done more than a year ago. The cut looks better than ones from the factory.
Like the other poster said, show some pictures or it didn't happen. What's the point of joining a board simply to make one negative post? I mean, do you really think these guys are making a killing by cutting snowboards in half? Save your anger for the cable company.

The thick storage wax makes it look extra bad, but that is not my idea of professional work. If I botched a job that bad I would not only not charge the customer, I'd buy him a new board.

Eric from Sicksplits emailed me again and assured me he would make this right. I was in the middle of waxing it when i got called to hospital and didnt have time to scrape. The base is fine, its the shitty cut and installation of hardware that is the problem. Tip and tail clips even pop open when Im riding. P tex puck came out on second day of use. I'm not a hater or troll I actually like what sicksplits is doing but it feels like someone knocked the wind outta me when i got my split sent back to me or like a 1000 dollar bad haicut that i waited 3 months for . I get bummed out just walking past it
