When glopping happens, it can easily be resolved by using a piece of wax and rub it over the skins' fur. (I do it twice from tail to nose and once from nose to tail)
On days prone to glopping - i.e. starting at the bottom at temperatures above freezing level, getting colder when gaining height - I'll already put some wax on the skins at the parking lot to avoid any issues.
