Totally sucks you had to bail on your trip because of clothing malfunction. I was also eyeing the Bombshell jacket to update my bc gear. I guess I will look elsewhere. Thanks for posting and saving others from a future headache.

Pay the extra $ and get the Trew gear bibs.... Best piece of outerwear I have ever worn. And they come with a lifetime warranty..... I also have a sherpa gear jacket that has had a lot of use. I like it and have had no issues, but the true gear stuff is quality you can see and feel

The bombshell jacket is way worth the purchase if your looking for quality at a low end price. I own the insulated and love it. I also own the Welder lo soft shell. Both are epic pieces for the price. I also own other jackets and have a reference for quality. People have issues with all gear, its just the way it goes.
