Myself, I would not buy anything but an ABS. But if your tight on funds this would be an excellent alternative.

I'm new to split boarding, not really to back country though (sleded for 3-4 years and used it as a powered t-bar)

Anybody thinking of tracking up Fernie this weekend?

Looks like they got some fresh down low. With the cooler temps it might be hitting the higher elevations hard.

Was out in kcountry before work this morn. The purple prince area is pretty tracked out. Aboput 5cm of new snow overnight.
