I just saw a few "snowshoe randonee AT" boots on ebay (way cheap). Has anyone used these for splitting?
I don't know how I never heard of them, but they look like the mod I should have done to the PMB's I rode in for years. Maybe add a heel strap/buckle. Would they work with a plate (with a highback?), or is the sole too flexy? With a moldable liner, they look like they'd be light and comfy on ascent.

Search Ebay for "AT boots". There were 3 different models for sale, at the bottom. If they're gone, they looked like my old Koflachs with taller, beefier cuffs and liners.
