I'd been eager to get over to Shasta after the storm that rolled through northern California around Thanksgiving. There were several places on the coast that got over a foot and a half of rain and they were calling for silly numbers of snow to the East. It was my first time out this season and it was good to be back in the snow, but unfortunately, Shasta did not break any records. I was in the Sun Bowl area most of the day.
The most memorable sight of the day was the caravan of 15-20 minivans full of foreign tourists driving down from bunny flat.
