So the cracks are gettin too long and I'm gonna convert my Burton Split to Voile. Looked through a few threads on the issue and I think I need to buy the Voile Split kit; is that correct?

Yeah but read the threads on the adjustable vs. 4-wood-screw-fixed pucks, and also the STS tail kit. Oh, if I'd known back then what I know now.
When I bought the split kit it was $125 or so, but you can also just buy the pieces mix-and-match from Voile, if you want to use the SD-style pucks or what have you. I need to test out my "reciprocating saw > bigass drillbit" theory of STS tail hook slots, but that post by BCD about clips is pure gold.
We ought to put together a Scripture of DIY Splits and update it when new revelations of that stature are emitted
Thanks, thats what I thought but thought I'd check before I bought.
Some of those threads fall into the too much information for Andy who just wants to ride category, I'll just go with the standard hardware as the only thing I ever adjust is forward lean anyhow.
As far as the tail clips go, mine busted long ago and I've never missed them so I'll probably just skip em.
