Chic Chocs - Check Your Pins 2.3

We had a great trip with Vertigo Adventures in the Chic Chocs last March. It ended up being the saving grace of the despicable winter we had last year. We found deep snow, blue skies, rain, fresh snow, sketchy snow pack, and tons of fun. If you ever find yourself on the Gaspe Peninsula, Vertigo Adventures provides a great guiding service in one of the lesser travelled parts of the mountain range.

Tite! Been looking forward to seeing this one for months! Pray tell... how far in advance did you book Vertigo Adventures? My friends and I are feeling the pull of the Chic Chocs this season and your videos and the internet seem to recommend them.

Do it! Vertigo is awesome. They are all about riding. Don't expect anything fancy. They are a no frills operation, but they have awesome remote terrain.

I think we booked about 2 months in advance.

Great footage. I traveled to the Gaspe in early March last year as well, but opted for the zones around Mont Albert. Vertigo operation looks awesome but we're traveling on the cheap. Definitely the best riding of the season. Heading back for more in 2013.

Really surprised that we didn't see a single splitty. All the Quebec kids are still snowshoeing and postholing up the skin tracks.

Nice videos, I've always wanted to check out Chic Chocs. Snow ghosts remind me of more out west here. Thanks for posting.
