The custom Friends of Berthoud Pass Neversummer Split is going to be raffled off at our Christmas Party December 18th at the Copper Kettle Brewery in Denver.
The tickets are $5 for one entry and $10 for three.
What is the FOBP Killclimbz. Is it a conservation effort or an avalanche center fundraiser? Thanks in advance.

In a nut shell Friends of Berthoud Pass is a grass roots avalanche education organization. We offer free basic avalanche awareness classes with a free on snow weekend early in the new year. I think it's the second weekend of February at the Pass this year. That portion hasn't been officially scheduled yet. Which reminds me, we need to nail it down.
We are 100% donation funded. Most of which goes towards class room expenses and the furthering education of our instructors. Of which there are around 20 active members. We definitely operate on a shoe string of a budget. I've been with the organization for over 6 years now and it's come a long way from the beginnings.
The other big thing is our advocacy to keep human powered recreation as a part of Berthoud Pass. Especially backcountry skiing and snowboarding. Which from time to time needs a voice for the land managers to hear.
