While not split related, I'm hoping that someone has some suggestions on crutch crampons...I imagine that a decent number of folks on this forum live in snowy/icey locales, so any advice would be appreciated.

I've seen a few different kinds searching the web, but if anyone has had good experiences with a certain brand, let me know. And, if you are in the Truckee/Tahoe area and aren't using the ones you have from your last winter injury, I'd love to borrow them.

My wife broke her tibia in the bc on Friday...surgery on Saturday...recovery for most of the winter. HUGE bummer as I lost my favorite bc partner for the season, but, obviously, it could have been way worse. The thought is she had a stress fracture that just finally popped, as there was no impact, etc. Just making a turn...crazy, huh?
