The Duffy is a touch drier then the coast, which is why it totally sucks! Nothing to see here, move along. Totally lived up to it on Sunday November 26th...
Dark skies? Another socked in November day on the Coast?
Must be a movie shoot, too dark for sunglasses, and that snow looks totally fake!
Soft pillows, must nap.
How much snow they got in CO Wes?
Oh perfect, here come those dark skies again as we breach the Alpine
Totally tracked out! Bummer
Last night's mushroom risotto flashback
Mind the glaciers, it is only November afterall
The weather sucked all day long!
The scenery wasn't any better
Ok, i'm running out of complaints
It was too shadowy!
But the S-chute was nice!
Still boney out there, best to stay indoors for a few more weeks, lest you get bit in the shark infest waters...
Our boring ski-out to end the day (at least it had the best snow, I don't like a firm pillow)
In conclusion: Unless you're into horseback riding, you can probably give Pemberton a miss.

Looks rad! How was the coverage down low? Hoping to get out there this weekend but the stability isn't going to be any good with this new snow moving in.
BTW please resize your photos in the future. They are good photos but just way too big for this format.

Hey, coverage to the highway is quite good (we were in the western cayoosh, eastern ranges up there will be drier). We also skied primarily north and east aspects, though windscouring was pretty non-evident to ridge tops (all aspects were pretty similar coverage wise.
There was sizeable surface hoar everywhere and I suspect it got worse earlier this week. The wet weather today probably soaked it at lower elevations but treeline and above could be touchy as a result. The snow will probably be a little heavier/wetter this weekend but coverage shouldn't be a big issue unless you're in tighter forest/valley bottom alder. Have fun report back!
i just grabbed the urls from facebook photo's, they aren't usually so enormous, facebook just resized their photo display (yet again) so that has something to do with it. I don't see an easy fix without a bunch more work, I'll try to fix for next time.
