we had the Japan premiere last night - soooo awesome!
So, my new favourite parts were the bergschrund ollies in the Wranglers...or JJ with his daughters looking at the 3d maps with his daughters, "yeah this line looks pretty good"!

-The young girl behind us that had WAY to much to drink.
-The segment of Ryan Hawkins literally flying through the Vermont woods, after his father explained his 14 points of living to us. Very real.
-The respect I gained for JJ when everybody puckerd up after topping out in Alaska. He explained the difference between being scared and that gut instinct that tells you turn around.

I'd have to say there were many great parts to this. All of Dirksens turns, that guy has style. But I particularly impressed to see Lucas turn around. I think I was the only one at the show who cheered. First off, that must be touch in a big movie production movie with cameramen above you and across the way to say no. I have a feeling that he probably second guessed his decision as well after seeing JJ and Rylands line, and probably after the movie was shown. I just hope he can remember that his decision is always right. I think of backing away like a poker hand, you were always right throwing it away, even if it looks like you would have won. Something can always go different if you decide to stay. Who knows if 3 on that area would have blown it off. But backing off can be damn tough, props to Lucas.

This is a lesson in reading posts I check out the topic as posted by Chris and figured since I hadn't seen it I would be able to qualify and didn't bother posting and didn't check back till now. I should have know that this site would be cooler than that.
