I got the new Artisan on friday and went up into the mountains to try it out.
First impression. Seems to be solid, and I really like that Voile made it with sidewalls rather than the CAP construction. I allready have the Mojo RX 171, and the quallity of the new Artisan is a step up.

Annyways.. when approaching the top, half way up we met some other guys that had aborted the attempt to reach the top, the wind was to extreme. So we headed towards the local resort... Strapped on the Artisan, a little gentle at fist, getting the feel for it. Second run I was hauling ass!! I got to say; I love it! For a splittboard to work that well in a resort is impressive. Good pop, playfull yet stable, really fun to ride.
Sunday morning the weather looked better, so we made a new attempt. Snow was a bit heavy, but beggars can't be choosers Skinning up was good, no issues at all. Board felt light and easy.
Dropping in , made a few turns in the fresh, easy even tho the snow was pretty heavy. Great float, no legburn at all Good in high speeds (mind you I did didnt haul ass, cause its early in the season and there are lots of rocks on the surface and hidden under the fresh) Cant wait to get it out again. Want to ride it deeper and steeper. I'll try to post an update when i get some more hours on it and get to try it in other conditions.

The feedback I have from the boards that I sold our winter just finished is great.
Construction is amazing, and they look good too, not that the look makes them ride great.
The owners are so impressed they are taking them to Japan and Alaska for the winters up there.
