Hello everybody, so finally completed my ride decade DIY it was a lots of fun, I like to say thank you to every one on this forum who helped me out with advise. I see you based in Slovakia, I had nice back country last season in Vratna(chleb,wielki krywan,snilovskie sedlo ecc), planing to come back this season, where ales is interesting to go for spliting in Slovakia?

I saw by the comments on your photos that you are from poland. Yes Vratna, Chleb, Snilovske sedlo a Krivan is also my favourite location in Slovakia. Been there 2 times this spring and I'm plannig to go there also this winter.
What else is interesting in Slovakia is hard for me to say, I started splitting only last year so I will discover some other places this winter in Slovakia, can tell you than

Hey plasta, curious how you managed with the misty cap construction on the decade. Specifically mounting the touring bracket around the milled out waist. Would you mind taking a pic of the gap in between the touring bracket and the board along the outside waist? Would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Burner, sure will do that next week, I am off this week and not going to the workshop, to be honest I have cut the shape of touring bracket tip out of perspex(polycarbonate sheet) and I glued using epoxy so it is a kind of washer just to level up with the top sheet. that's it.

Awesome, that'd be great. I was contemplating splitting my Salomon Burner which has the ERA system, much like Ride's Misty Cap technology with the milled out waist and just using some sort of washer to flatten it out that outer area for the bracket to rest on.

Thanks! I'm still up in the air on what board to split, but this def helps if I decide to split my Salomon Burner.

I'd say go for the stiff one, I targeted Decade because is very stiff, originally is a wide board 165cm length so was a made for people a bit heavier then me so I am hoping that should perform well in terrain.
I was riding one Salomon of piste board few years ago it was a 167cm Salomon Fastback lovely board.
