I literally posted the link here within minutes of yours but you beat me to it. It's an awesome resource to cross reference guide books and paper maps with. I am super stoked on it

They mentioned this map at the recent UAC discussion over the weekend. I meant to pick it up. They were pushing it as a way to increase efficiency in rescue operations. Knowing where you are exactly e.g bannana belt rather than just in days or upper days would make it easier for rescuers to find you. I like picutures and topos kind of a boring looking map but I'll still get it.

Its definitely a nice additional resource to have and its makes a lot of sense in terms of rescue management, etc.. Its also interesting to learn some of the strange, out of the way places I thought no one ever ventured, actually have names...

This is way cool. I can finally figure out exactly where people are talking about instead of knowing just the general area. Curious who got to name all these runs. Some are kinda funny. It sounds so much cooler to tell people you did Neil's Bullshit Bowl. Makes it sound more gnarly.
