Just like everybody else, we've been chomping at the bit to get some turns. We've seen a few dustings over the past several weeks, but nothing to get excited about, unless you're into wet grass turns. (See famous internet skiers, crazy bastards!) With the North East NOAA site running on back up, my go to for weather, I was left scrounging to get info this morning.
I new there was snow in the northern Greens. Hurricane Sandy had just enough gas left in the tank when she hit Vermont. We just had to find it. I got excited as we headed down the interstate where we were surrounded by snow covered mountain tops. We chatted it up with a fellow dirtbagger in the parking lot who told us his buddy told him there was snow up top to shred. Good enough and we packed the gear.
We left the splits at home because there wasn't going to be much snow. This was a rockboard mission!

It's starting to look like winter on Mansfield. This week is supposed to bring us more good tidings.
