dafu All I can say is that the Jones Importer into Australia convinced me that all the new boards will be coming from GST in Europe and that the build quality will be A+. I saw them at the recent trade show downunder but 5 mins in front of a board is no test. I've held off stocking them as I didnt want to sell a sub standard product , but every one wants them regaurdless I hope they are quality, I've ordered heaps. Fingers crossed

Yes, all boards are made in Austria now and are top quality. Boards are sick.
don't know how you can say that. When they were made in Tunisia, the company was saying the same thing (not about Austria). It's going to take a season of no complaints for me to even consider them

Jones had a tent there with all the new boards on display. They are sick. Production is no longer by Nidecker, it's now happening at a factory in Austria, and the overall build quality and quality control has apparently gone way up. The boards certainly look it.

What does that prove? His samples looked good. I'm sure his Tunisian samples looked good too. Just above chef Ben wrote that the new solution he saw had skewed graphics...which seems par for the course from last year. Don't get me wrong, I want jones to succeed and I like the shape of his boards, but like I said , it's going to take a season of positive reviews before I can consider them. Splits are so damn expensive that I can't afford or want to afford buying something which wasn't properly made.

Then don't buy online, go to a shop, check out the boards for yourself and make your decision rather than relying on the internet to tell you what to do.

You're smart to give it a season, Supra. If Chef Ben is right--if boards with screwed up graphics are making it onto the showroom--then their quality assurance issues are obviously far from resolved.

Just checked some solutions at the local shop and they looked great...I didn't see any of the problems I remember hearing about last season. Crossing my fingers my carbon comes in perfect...

Could anyone detail what issues the jones 2012 solutions had? I am considered getting a used one off ebay. I am also looking at the 2013 models, so any updates on them would be appreciated.
